A growing Sabine County business is making a big move—one that reflects both its success and its continued commitment to serving the community. JR Tool & Equipment Rentals, owned and operated by Robert and Jasmin Crittenden, has officially relocated to a new, larger location at 2065 Worth Street, offering expanded space, improved accessibility and even more equipment to meet the needs of customers across the area.

The City of Pineland marked a significant milestone Friday, April 17, with the official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of its new City Hall—an event that brought together local leaders, state representatives, educators and community members in a celebration of growth, progress and shared vision.

Landon Smith, Brookeland High School Senior #11 in Basketball once again got District MVP, All Region and All State. He had over 3,000 points in his high school career. He will play in the All-Star Basketball game in San Antonio, Thursday May 07, 2026. He did all that while taking college courses.
