Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor, I am a former resident of Sabine County and lived in the area from 1968 until around 1989, when I relocated after my mother passed away. Although I moved away, Sabine County still holds a special place in my heart, and I return regularly to visit family members who are currently residing at Legacies Nursing Home.

Play On...

Body
Come see a really funny show. This is the hilarious story of a theatre group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance, in which anything that can go wrong, does. When the author decides to give a speech on the state of the modern theatre during the curtain calls, the audience is treated to a madcap climax and a thoroughly hilarious romp. Even the sound effects reap their share of laughrehearsal ter. In full rehearsal of Play On' that opens April'nth at the Hemphill Little Theatre and plays 2 weekends. Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm Tickets $12 pre-sale & $15 at the door. Tickets available at Hammocks Furniture, ByLocal, East Sabine Senior and online at http://www.actorsstudioinc.
