Thursday evening the Sabine County Texas Republicans held a Candidate Forum at the Feed Store in Hemphill. It was a great turnout, more photos and details in next week’s feature.

PRESS RELAEASE Sunday, November 16, 2025 This evening the Sabine County Sheriff’s Office took the first of several finishing steps of a major investigation and made the arrest of three individuals, all for the Delivery of a Controlled Substance or Possession of a Controlled Substance, specifically Methamphetamine (“Meth”). These individuals sold meth during the course of Operation Crystal Ball, which the Sheriff’s Office started in March of 2025, which was designed to target the sale of Meth in Sabine County.
