The announcement fee (which must be paid in advance) includes a statement and photograph to run one time. Fees are $200. The name on the calendar runs each week until the election.

Thank you t Hemphill High School FCCLA students and sponsor, Kristi McDaniel who served and helped prepare brunch with Chef Patrick, Kitchen Krew Kathy and Ida and Yolanda Wright Bozant. “NOT IN MY COUNTY!” Sheriff George Griffith and Department focus on cleaning up drugs in Sabine County

PRESS RELAEASE Sunday, November 16, 2025 This evening the Sabine County Sheriff’s Office took the first of several finishing steps of a major investigation and made the arrest of three individuals, all for the Delivery of a Controlled Substance or Possession of a Controlled Substance, specifically Methamphetamine (“Meth”). These individuals sold meth during the course of Operation Crystal Ball, which the Sheriff’s Office started in March of 2025, which was designed to target the sale of Meth in Sabine County.

Monument Plaque Werner Burwood has set up an account. at Southside Bank under the name of Sabine County Alamo Letter Society for people to make donations to help with the cost of the monument plaque “Letter to The Alamo” which will be placed on the courthouse lawn.
