Special Fall Sports & Activities Edition

This is an opportunity for local businesses, parents, family and friends to give a shout out to their special student, alma mater and local school. You can purchase an ad for your PeeWee Player all the way up through their senior year. You can also feature a shout out to a coach, director or teacher of your choice.

The Hornet Gym knives have arrived and they were worth the wait! Over 600 knives were delivered last week to those who ordered these preciousl mementos during the fall of last year. Upon arrival, quickly many others were interested in having a piece of history from the gym and you can place your orders through Kelli at the Hephill ISD_Admin office through this Friday at noon. Both brick and wood handles are available for purchase.

Burglaries Discussed at City Meeting

by Kenny Wick Sabine County Reporter The regular meeting of the Hemphill City Council was opened with a prayer and pledges to the American and Texas flags. There were no guest speakers or citizen comments, so the Council got down to the business of approving last meeting’s minutes, accounts payable check register, gas power cost adjustment of $0.538 per ccf for August 2022, and electric power cost adjustment of $0.04294 per kwh for August 2022.
