He's Free: Houston Lawyer posts $1 million dollars to get out of jail after killing his son in Sabine County

#UPDATE Michael C. Howard is out of jail today, just one week after confessing that he shot his 20-year-old son and burned his body.

December 9, 2024, Howard went before Judge Mixon in Sabine County where his bond was lowered from $20 Million ($10 million for each charge) to $1 million total. According to court documents: $750K for Murder and $250K for Tampering with Evidence/Corpse

I was a senior in High School and joined the Shelbyville Dragons Football team (I’m #18). It was my first year to play, I weighed 140 pounds and was among a group of tough country boys with four years playing football. There were no cityslickers on our team. They came from East Hamilton, Patroon, Possum Trot, Goober Hill, Huxley and the Sardis Community.

All you can do is close your eyes and “let-herrip”. Usually several people around you will say, “God Bless You”. You have just been blessed by people you don’t even know, all because you sneezed. Why is that? What is it that prompts strangers to want to bless you?

The West Sabine Tigers left the friendly confines of the Tiger Den to travel northward to renew hostilities with the Joaquin Rams. This was a de facto playoff game for both squads, so the intensity was up several notches.
