Fiber, finally...

Body
Windstream and NTIA, along with County Judge Daryk Melton, commissioners, representatives from DETCOG, Kinetic, etc., hosted a Community Event/Ribbon Cutting on Monday, November 20th, to celebrate the groundbreaking of Kinetic Fiber in our area. Everyone met at Sabean's Coffee & Creamery for a social gathering and then moved to the Courthouse steps for acknowledgements of everyone who helped put this project together. There were only 13 grants awarded to rural counties for projects like this with only one chosen in the state of Texas, and Sabine County was that county. All eyes are on Sabine County to see how well we do with this game changing opportunity.
