Welcome Integrity

Body
The things that outlive us on earth become tokens for others to admire and use. We gift and receive blessings on special occasions. Creations of art carry stories passed on in cuddled memories; as we cross away from this life, they remain for others to enjoy.

Fincher’s Corner

Body
I met Hollis Peavy in the late fifties while I was Pastor of San Augustine’s Liberty Hill Baptist Church and we became lifetime friends. He invited me once to an afternoon squirrel hunt. When I insisted that squirrels don’t “stir” that time of day, he replied, “Then let’s make’em stir”.

Let the fire burn!

Body
Ilookedoutthekitchen window, to check on the fire. The boys had it burning and it was large. At first, it had been scary; it was so big. The brush pile had been at least five feet tall. It was probably two car lengths long, too. The storms we had been having, had wreaked havoc on my trees. The boys had come and gathered all the limbs, in a pile, weeks ago. But, it was getting late and they hadn’t had time, to burn them.
