The Canvas and Cedar Showcase night featuring Hemphill High School’s student’s art and ceramic work was a huge success. We would like to say a special thank you to all of our families and friends that came out and admired and bought our work. Many of the pieces sold and there will still be some pieces on display for sale at the Canvas and Cedar shop this week. The HHS Art department and students would also like to say thank you to Aaron and Eric Hudnall for teaming up with us for such an amazing evening! If you bought something, Heidy Griffin the HHS art teacher will be contacting you soon to collect your payment and get your item to you. Above are some pictures from the evening.

Hemphill, Texas - The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10351, also known as the Sabine County Post, is calling on all honorably discharged, campaign-awarded veterans who wish to continue serving their fellow veterans, their community, and the youth of Sabine County.

Sabine County 4-H President Jake Pay was recently honored with the Texas 4-H Gold Star Award, the highest recognition a 4-H member can receive at the county level. The Gold Star Award recognizes outstanding leadership, personal achievement, and service within the 4-H program and the community.
