The Hemphill Salvation Army Service Unit would like to thank Hemphill ISD for their, “I CAN, You CAN, We all CAN be drug free”, food drive along with Brookshire Brothers Brown Bag initiative. As this time of so much uncertainty it was a wonderful surprise to discover our schools and community pully together to serce It’s people.

I purchased a telescope for our classroom. Inside the box of many parts was a paper filled with phrases like, “insert part A into part K after rotating part Q!” My mind automatically shut down. I did not completely understand how to follow the directions. I handed the box of assorted parts to Mr. Randy and I opened my favorite cookbook and followed a recipe to bake a Carrot Cake. All was well!

The biggest and best Milam Settlers Day ever will be held in Milam,Texas, on November 18th. and 19th. at El Camino Park. The two-day event will mark the 30th. anniversary of the popular Milam Settlers Day Weekend Festival. Fun and activities for the whole family will be the order for the weekend. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy this admission-free annual event.
