Pineland Library Reading Program...

Body
The Arthur Temple Senior Library in Pineland was hosting “All Together Now” book reading week for the local children. The kiddos enjoyed mornings of listening to many stories being read to them, and discussing the morals and messages of the stories. Each day offered a different outside activity for fun and learning for the kids as well. On Wednesday, the kiddos enjoyed a petting pen full of a wide variety of small animals that they were able to pet, hold and even groom. Learning is fun in Pineland!

Thank You...

Body
The Hemphill Salvation Army Service Unit would like to thank the Postal Service as well as all the employees who worked so hard to make this last food drive a success. This would have not been possible without the donations by the community and extra manpower to collect the donated items. The donors took the time to look at expiration dates, so very little had to be discarded.
