Kathleen Kay “Kathy” Christian, 65, of Hemphill, passed away on September 2, 2025, in Lufkin. Born on December 13, 1959, in Port Arthur, Kathy was the daughter of Kenny Kimler and Janice Fay Latiolais.

Ida Mae Ingels, 89, passed away on August 23, 2025, at her residence in Geneva. Born on June 19, 1936, in Dickens, Nebraska, Ida was the daughter of Russell and Minnie Cellan Dugan.

Charles Gene Lindsey, age 83, of San Augustine, TX, was born in Jasper, TX on October 3, 1941. He went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2025, just in time to reunite with his beloved wife, Martha, on her birthday.

Angela Dawn (Smith) Grider, 64, of Yellowpine passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025. Angie was born June 26, 1961, in Bay City, Texas, to parents Robert Glyn and Virginia Smith. She was the oldest of three daughters.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca Lynn Hart, lovingly known as Becky or Ducky, at the age of 32. Rebecca was born on December 6th, 1992, at Meritier Methodist Hospital in Madison, WI. She passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, at CHI St. Lufkin.

Pamela Jean Carrico, 68, of San Augustine, was called home by our Lord and Savior on Friday, June 20, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born May 3, 1957 in Panama City Florida, to parents William and Sonja Luckey.

Bonnie Moore, 79, of Rosevine, passed away on August 11, 2025, in Hemphill. A lifelong resident of Rosevine, Bonnie was born there on July 23, 1946, to N. B. McBride and Ella Mae Murray McBride.

Nancy Eddins Drew, 81, of Center, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Center. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2025, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

James Henry “Hen” Parks, age 70, of San Augustine, departed this physical life on, July 25, 2025, at his residence in San Augustine. Mr. Parks, was born August 01, 1954.

David Ronald Brown, lovingly known as “Papa”, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025. While he will be missed and remembered always, his family finds comfort knowing he died painlessly and while Trump was president. David was a simple man who lived an honest life.
