James Henry “Hen” Parks, age 70, of San Augustine, departed this physical life on, July 25, 2025, at his residence in San Augustine. Mr. Parks, was born August 01, 1954. Survived by his wife; Gloria Hill Parks of San Augustine, two sons; LaDarius Ealy (Daniell) of Dallas, and Rodregus Hill of Nacogdoches, daughter; Jametrice Parks of San Augustine, eleven grandchildren , seven great-grandchildren, brother; James Ray Parks of Houston, three sisters; Gloria Burrell (Murry) of Houston, Sharon Crockett of San Augustine, and Barbara Jones of San Augustine. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing held Friday, August 8, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Garner & Son Chapel.

Funeral service held Saturday, August 9, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at True Vine Baptist Church, Interment: Roberts Cemetery, Rev. S. J. Clark Pastor.
