Pine Grove United Methodist Church will have its Annual Family and Friend’s Day Program, Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. The Guest speaker will be Pastor Tammy Derrick.

The Hemphill Planning and Zoning Commission held their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, December 6th at noon. Four members of the Commission were present, and after the opening prayer, accepted the previous meeting's minutes.

The Sabine County Commissioners Court held a regular meeting on Monday, December 11th. After the opening prayer and pledge to the flag, approval was given to the minutes of the previous meeting. There were no lineitem transfers or budget amendments to consider.

The Texas Forestry Museum invites you and your family to come enjoy the holiday break by playing a life-size sawmill town board game. The game uses dice and trivia to take people through a week of life in a sawmill town. The first person to finish the week wins!
