On Friday, February 23rd there was a party held in honor of the outgoing Director of the East Sabine Senior Center, Diann Burns. Pictured above front left is New Director Tommie Jean Sullivan, outgoing Director Diann Burns, Diann's father Tommy Jacks, and (back row) sons Christian Burns and Parker Burns. A heartfelt farewell by Maurice Patteson was given, bringing smiles and tears. The large crowds enjoyed cake and punch. Diann says she is not sure yet what the next chapter of her life brings, but whatever it is, she is looking forward to each and every day.
