Body “Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.” Deuteronomy 10:19 “These things I command you, that ye love one another.” John 15:17 “I joked about every prominent man of my time, but I never met a man I didn't like” was a famous quote by Will Rogers.

Body The true story of each of our lives reveals the possible from the impossible by choices we observed and absorbed as children. At some point we began to choose, and all those choices brings us to where we are today.

Body I heard someone say that they had purchased a new Ford Galaxy with “all nine yards of goodies”. I once heard a woman say that she really gave that other woman a piece of her mind, giving her the “whole nine yards”. I am sure we have all used that phrase from time to time.

Body I was seated about half way down, in the large crowd. I always admire our newly remodeled church. But today, there was more, to appreciate. Flowers adorned the front. These arrangements stretched from one side of the building, to the other.

Body Last week my brother told me about a stray dog that kept getting in his garbage. He said it wasn’t such a problem until other strays began to show up. “The boldness of the first stray became something fierce when he joined with the others.

Body A one of a kind in the whole wide Universe. We wake and can decide minute by minute in what order to do what is needed.

Body In the late 1940s my dad installed a new composition roof on our house. For some reason he selected a dark blue color instead of the usual brown. Little did he know at the time that this decision may have saved a life.

Body We were riding down a highway, through a lovely countryside. I love this route. It has rolling hills and valleys, lush with grass, even at this time of year. (In the Springtime, it is even more beautiful.) We were on our way to Nacogdoches, for my eye doctor appointment.

Body When I was in the eighth grade, the Curtis Publishing Company came to our school to get the students to sell popular magazines for them. (Saturday Evening Post, Reader’s Digest, etc.). And we could win special prizes if we sold enough subscriptions.

Body When a person of INTEGRITY walks in the door, it is said the energy in the room rises. Heads turn. It is noticeable. Kids are said to have a lot of energy as do kittens and pups.... A character of stature is recognized.
