Body Lately, the temperature in Florida has topped 100°. I saw on the news that the Northeast is also hitting 100°.

Body All of us have been affected by the news we hear on the radio, social media, tell a vision, even the grapevine. We naturally rush to taste the stew while trying to figure out the ingredients, the preparations, and time required from beginning to end.

Body Son number three has been graced with observance. His understanding of baby brother’s birthday party being planned nudged him to correct me. He said Daniel’s birthday came first, then David’s and his was to be next, not baby Darrin’s.

Body We were sitting under the shade of n oak tree comparing notes and conferring with one another as to the best methods of service, especially in reference to effective preaching.

Body My closets were running over! I had two, that were tightly jammed with my clothes. Yes, just mine. Something needed to go. Actually, a lot of “somethings.” So, I tackled this chore, little by little.

Body Just when I recover from the latest ache in my body within a few minutes, I will get a “Boo, I’m back.” I’m not quite sure why these Aches and Pains love my body so much. Why don’t they just get over it and move on to another circus.

Body I was getting ready for bed. The words to a song kept going over and over in my mind. Since I love music; this happens often. I remember one song, that invaded my memory. I don’t even like the song. I finally prayed for, the Lord to take it out of my mind.

Body There is a story that used to be told quite often about a preacher who wanted electric light in his study. There was in the house an electric battery that was used for the ringing of various bells.

Body After many years of denial, I finally realized how easily I am confused. Why it took me so long to realize this, I will never know.

Body Did all of us girls have a fairy tale dream reserved to be seen unfold? Can we look back to how we built sand castles at the beach, see the moon so round and white and bright almost close enough to reach but not quite?
