BOM is a proud sponsor of the Tiger Trunk Program housed at West Sabine ISD that helps to serve functional needs of students. It’s a new school year for Hemphill ISD and class is in session. Big things are happening for the Hornets. The new Middle School Building is almost completed and Meet the Teacher for Middle School and High School is scheduled for Aug. 21. Hemphill graduate, Dre’lyn Washington, was named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List. The Doak Walker Award honors the top running back in college football in the US. The recipient of the award will be announced Dec. 7th, 2023.

Local talent and totally adorable fiddle player Luke Moody was selected to perform at The John Ritter Tribute Showcase held at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and on Friday he brought the house down. Pictured above with his trophy for Fan Favorite, Moody proved he has pipes and personality. Look out Country Music! This kid is coming to fill their shoes.

Patricia Huffman Smith NASA Museum hosted The Texas Bucket List and Shane McAullife last Wednesday. A feature on the museum will be airing soon.

Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church, located at 564 County Road 4330, Bronson, Will have their 87th homecoming Sunday August 13, 2023 followed by Revival. There will be No Sunday School on the 13th, Church will start at 10:30 am. Evening Services have been omitted. Lunch will follow the morning service, so bring your favorite dish and join for food and fellowship.The 14-18th will be theirRevival at 7:00 pm each night. Listed below are the speakers: Bro.
