Body The Texas Association of School Boards has named West Sabine ISD Superintendent Dr. Carnelius Gilder the Region 7 Education Service Center Superintendent of the Year. That places Dr. Gilder in the running for the Texas Superintendent of the Year.

Body The Sabine County Commissioners Court held its regular meeting on Monday, June 10th, and after opening prayer and pledge to the flag, approved the minutes of the previous meeting. There were no line-item transfers or budget amendments to consider.
