THE MAGIC OF LICORICE

Body
I must admit that I love the taste of licorice. I always have. Now I know that most people don’t, and it is difficult to find any who can “take it or leave it”. You either love it or hate it. My wife is in the latter category. I have had to limit my intake of the sweet, black, chewy, delicacy since our marriage.

The value of hands!

Body
I was washing my hands. I felt that familiar sting, on my thumb. I looked down and sure enough there was a split in the skin. It was next to the nail. This all started years ago. The doctor said that; I had dried all of the natural oils, out of my hands. I would have to put salve on them, use a band-aid and keep my hands out of water.

Welcome Integrity: Glory

Body
If there was such thing as a magic wand, I would pray for it to whisk away all bodily pains along with the aches in every heart. I pray without a wand in hand, but with palms pressed together. I pray the glory of God completely fills the souls of each person on this earth. And that is only until I read a horrible headline or hear of a horror story. I cannot bear to think people miss to know God, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Point... Counterpoint

Body
by Cecil Tatom Sabine County Reporter Hello, readers! We’re back after a brief hiatus to bring you Point/Counterpoint! This week’s question is what is your opinion of President Biden pardoning his son Hunter? I cannot say I’m surprised this happened, even after months of both Biden and his surrogates insisting that no pardon was imminent. Both Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles could have seen this coming, and Ray’s been dead for quite awhile.
