William Howard 'Donny' Garrett, 64, of San Augustine, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, in Dallas. He was born Aug. 21, 1957, to parents Mollie Beatrice Curl and Holman Garrett in San Augustine. He was dearly loved by his family.

Danny Ellis McGee, 75, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022, at Overton Brook VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. He was born May 10, 1947, to Sam Rayson and Hazel Marie (Burns) McGee. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, where he was a sharpshooter (rifle).

Boyd Miles Miller, 99, a loving husband and father of two children passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022. He and his wife were residents of Hemphill for the last 30 years living in Six Mile.

D.R. Boyett, 91, of Buffalo, IL, formerly of Bronson, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022. He was born on Aug. 20, 1930, in Milam, the son of Ross and Velma Boyett. He graduated from Hemphill High School. After graduation he entered the U.S. Air Force and served for three years.
