Life on earth came to a close for Tommy Clark on July 16, 2022, at Woodland Heights Hospital, Lufkin.

He was born on April 26, 1945, in Hemphill, to Edward and Arzel Smith Clark. He retired from Temple Inland and Sabine County Road and Bridge. He then served as a Sabine County Commissioner, Precinct 1, for eight years. He also was a member of Littleton Fowler No. 305 AF and AM where he served a Worshipful Master. He was a member of Hemphill Order of the Eastern Star No. 375 serving as Worthy Patron.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Earl Clark, Joe Lynn Clark and Charles Edward Clark; grandson, Jason Williams; and granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Ener. Tommy's memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 35 years, Patsy Clark.

He also leaves behind one daughter, Tammy Ener and her husband, Nathan of Hemphill; and three sons, Harold Clark and his wife, Debi of Chiefland, FL, Wilton Steele Netterville, Jr., and his wife, Johanna of Vidor and Rebel Wayne Netterville and his wife, Lisa of Anahuac; seven grandchildren, Jeff Williams of St. Cloud, FL, Chelsea Ener of Carthage, Nathan Ryan Ener, of New York, Erin Howell and her husband, Will of Highland, Justin Netterville, Cody Netterville and his wife, Magan of Hankamer, Tyler Netterville and his wife, Hillary of Kirbyville; 13 great-grandchildren, Haley Bradley, Elizabeth and Jacob Williams, Vivy Ann and Bryce Howell, Justin Netterville Jr., Jeslynn Netterville, Jentri Netterville, Cooper Wayne Netterville, Tyson Lance Netterville, Brody Mack Netterville, Wyatt Netterville and Mela Netterville; brother, Glen Dale Clark of Childster, AK; sister, Carolyn Clark of Port Arthur; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, at Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill.

Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 22, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eddie Ballard and Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.

Burial will follow services in Fairmount Cemetery with Jimmy McDaniel, Carlin McDaniel, Jerry Wayne Smith, Bruce Ladner, Shannon Cox and Eleazar Carranza serving as pallbearers. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be County Commissioners, employees of Sabine County Road and Bridge and Littleton Fowler Lodge #305.
