Terry Paul Brittain, 59, of Hemphill, passed away on September 14, 2024. Born on June 13, 1965, in Jasper, Terry dedicated much of his life to serving his community and his faith as a pastor at Oakhill Baptist Church. Professionally, Terry worked as a millwright with GE Beaumont, where he was respected for his expertise and dedication. His commitment to his work was paralleled by his devotion to his family and faith. Terry is survived by his loving wife, Dianne Brittain of Six Mile; sons, Terry Brittain, Jr. and his wife Jera of Fairmount, and Douglas Brittain and his wife Courtney of Six Mile; brothers, David Rousse of Hemphill and Nary Brittain of Nebraska; sisters, Seba Rivers and Marlene Mavigliano, both of Nebraska. He was also a cherished grandfather to Blake, Caycen, Elijah, Tori, and Raylan Brittain.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill, Texas.

Services will be held at Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill, Texas, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m with Bro. Wayne Alford and Kenny Fife officiating the services.

Burial will follow services in Oakhill Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bobby Jacobs, Aaron Lee, Michael Campbell, Jim Bennett, Josh Bennett, and Joe Bennet service as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Stephen Cowan and James Snow.
