Terry Johnson, 71, was born Jan. 2, 1951, in San Augustine, to Charlie Eugene and Sadie Terry Johnson. He entered into rest in San Augustine County on May 9, 2022.

He worked for the Fussell family at San Augustine Motor Company in parts and service for over 30 years. He was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. He was a Master Mason, member of Redland Lodge #3 A.F. & A.M. and Frank Sexton Commandery, #46, K.T.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 42 years, Jo Anna Sutton Johnson; daughter, Abby Lout and husband, Dusty of Chireno; grandchildren, Elly, Dax, and Ripp Lout; nephew, Perry Johnson and wife, Linda of Cooper; and niece, Connie Wood and husband, Ricky of Humble, and their children, Rachel and Daniel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Derl Johnson and Harold Gene Johnson, and his wife, Wanda; and his sister, Mildred Bucklew, and her husband, James.

Masonic graveside services were held May 12, at Liberty Hill Memorial Garden, located on Hwy. 147 North, with Bro. Frank Holrath officiating.

Pallbearers included, Jerry Black, Dan Fussell, David Davidson, Tommy Pickard, Jerry Pickard, Herman Shofner, Mark Tidwell and Charles Burks. Honorary pallbearers included members of Redland Lodge #3, Tim Stewart, Edward Lee Terry and Cleo Anders.
