Stuart Davis Bagala, 43, of Geneva, passed away on November 3, 2024, at his residence. Born on September 9, 1981, in Houma, Louisiana to Michael Joseph Bagala and Ella Ann Verret Bagala, Stuart spent his early years in Jeanerette, Louisiana, before becoming a long-time resident of Sabine County.

Stuart had a successful career as an instrumentation technician in the offshore petroleum industry. His work, which required precision and expertise, was a significant part of his life.

A lover of the outdoors, Stuart was passionate about hunting and fishing. These hobbies not only provided him relaxation and joy but also connected him with friends and family, creating lasting memories in the natural landscapes he cherished. Stuart is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Ella Bagala of Geneva; sons, Domenick Bagala of Bronson, Vince Bagala, and Luca Bagala, both ofWelsh, Louisiana; daughters, Isabella Leone and her husband, Logan, of Bronson, and Mia Bagala of Welsh, Louisiana. He is also survived by his brothers, Shane Bagala and his wife, Lynette, of New Iberia, Louisiana, and Scott Bagala and his wife, Jessica, of Hemphill; sister, Sabrina Bagala of Charenton, Louisiana; and granddaughter, Malory Leone. Memorial services for Stuart were heldWednesday, November 6, 2024, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill, Texas, with Bro. Lawrence Babin officiating.
