Shadrich 'Pete' Elwood Morris, 82, of Flemphill, passed away Monday, November 13, in Fegacies Nursing & Rehab in Flemphill. Pete was born August 2, 1941 in Flemphill to John David Morris, Sr. and Virgie Marie Maxey Morris. Fie was a graduate of Flemphill Fligh School and later served his country as a member of the United States Army. Fie was a lifelong Sabine County resident and worked as a carpenter for many years. When he had time, he liked to hunt deer and turkeys.

Fie is survived by his sister, Beth Fisher and husband, Glenn, of Orange; niece, Flolly Blount and husband, Justin, of Friendswood; and nephew, Josh Fisher and wife, Lisa, of Orange.

Graveside services at 2:00 p.m. Fuesday, November 14, 2023 in Low's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.
