Serenity Gail Lucius, born and passed away into the arms of angels on August 12, 2026, in Lufkin, to parents Johnathan Allen Lucius and Madison Ann Margie Vazquez. Though her time on earth was brief, her memory will be cherished by her loving family. She is survived by her father, Johnathan Lucius; mother, Madison Vazquez; grandparents, Tina Clarkson and Raymond, Shannon Mitchell and Cody Rivera, and Antonio Vazquez and Kisha; great-grandparents, John and Onie Lucius, Scott and Gwen Morrison, and Roger and Robin Mitchell; uncles, Zachary Lucius, Antonio and Marissa Vazquez, Jared Vazquez, Shane Vazquez, Aiden Anderson, Ashton Anderson, and Avery Vazquez; aunts, Chloe and Andre Pate, and Aleyah and Dustin Gordon; along with many more relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Curtis Bennett, and aunt, Serenity Rivera.

Graveside services for Serenity will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Mason Smith Cemetery. The services will be officiated by Bro. George Ross and are under the direction of Starr Funeral Home, located in Hemphill, Texas.
