Ralph Carson Hill, Sr.
Ralph Carson Hill, Sr., aged 75, of Bronson, passed away on February 26, 2026. Born on July 4, 1950, in Pineland, to Marvin Carson Hill and Clovis Dowden Hill, Ralph was a member of the Sabine County community throughout his life.
From the young age of 15, Ralph began his lifelong career as a log truck driver in the logging industry. He was not only known for his work ethic but also for his love of the outdoors, particularly fishing and hunting, which were among his favorite pastimes.
Ralph is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Hill and Mark Weaver of Hemphill; sons, Ralph Hill, Jr. of Hemphill and Clayton Lee Craig and his wife, Rhonda, of Bronson; brothers, Johnny 'Knuckle' Cruseturner and his wife, Glenda, of Pineland and James Cruseturner of Merryville, LA; and sister, Connie Sue Harris and her husband, Bobby, of Sexton.
Ralph was a proud grandfather to 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Jane Ellen Hill; son, Ralph Cheyenne Hill; and sister, Jackie Williams.
Funeral services will begin 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street in Hemphill, Texas, on with Bro. Rex White officiating.
Visitation will take place on the same day from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Following the services, burial will take place at Meador Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Chase Mitchell, Tyler Davis, George Hutto, Jordan Allen, Keith Hill, Christian Hill, Carson Hill, and Cameron Withrow.
