Perry Glenn Sorrells, 64, of Hemphill, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022, at his residence.

He was born in Dallas, on Dec. 9, 1957, to Robert Sorrells and Thelma Louise Rowe Sorrells. He was a graduate of Hemphill ISD and had worked in oil field production for many years. He had been a Sabine County resident since 1975 and he loved to shoot guns and play with his black Labs.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Sorrells Knopp and husband, Kyle, of Hemphill; brothers, Terry Sorrells of Terrell, and Maxie Sorrells of Hemphill; and grandchildren Shane McGaughey and Logan McGaughey.

Memorial services are pending at Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home.
