Pamela Ann Beard Evans, 69, of Broaddus passed away Friday, June 12, 2026, at her residence. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, San Augustine, with a memorial celebration beginning at 2:30 p.m. 'Pam' was born August 13, 1956, in Port Arthur to parents Ora Mae (Rash) and James Nelson Beard. She grew up in the Nederland area and was a 1974 graduate of Nederland High School. For the past several years, 'home' for Pam has been Broaddus, a community deep rooted with her family's legacy for many generations. She was a member of Broaddus Church of Christ.

She had worked several years as a health care attendant, which was motivated by a kind, helpful personality, and love for helping others. Pam's love was strong and evident in her adoration of her grandchildren and great-grands.

All things of nature held a special place in Pam's life. She loved flowers and had a passion for tending and planting them. Anyone who knew Pam would easily be aware of her fascination with ladybugs.

Her survivors include her husband, Jimmy Roy Evans of Broaddus; son, Cody Ray Evans of Broaddus; sister, Patricia Simmons and her husband Joe of Pineland; grandchildren, Brenden Evans, Kacen Evans, and Caleb Evans; great-grandchildren, Diesel Evans and Joshua Evans; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Ora Mae Beard.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine.
