Nathan Carl Moore, affectionately known as 'Mo,' passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on December 10, 1954, in Hemphill, to Carrage Moore and Ruby Bell Moore, Nathan was a longtime resident of Sabine County. He dedicated many years of his life to working in concrete construction. Nathan was a man who cherished conversations and visits with friends, and he had a deep love for music. He is survived by his daughters, Sherrika Moore and LaToya Moore, both residing in Sacramento, CA; his brother, Nathaniel Moore and wife, Margaret, of Hemphill; and his sisters, Marilyn Moore of Hemphill and Jackie Johnson and husband, Lester, of Brookeland; longtime special friend, Della Reid of Milam; grandchildren, Draven, Zack, Evan, Grey, Eathen, Tylian, Chance, Zead and Brice; and bonus grandson, Jeremiah.

Memorial services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street in Hemphill with Bro. Tommy Brooks officiating.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill.
