Melissa Lynn Sanders, 41, of Hemphill, passed away on November 24, 2024. Born on May 8, 1983, in Hemphill, she was a lifelong resident and a cherished member of the community. Melissa was known for her kind and loving nature. She was an excellent cook, often delighting her family and friends with delicious meals. A voracious reader, Melissa also had a passion for horror movies and took great joy in doing her own makeup, showcasing her artistic side.

She was a devoted member of the Geneva Baptist Church, where she found great comfort and community throughout her life.

Melissa is survived by her loving family: her mother, Teresa Sanders Hancock and her husband, Curtis of Milam; her son, Gabriel Titman and his wife, Taylor of Fort Drum, New York; her daughters, Leanna Earnst, Phoebe Troutman, and Huxlee Leone, all of Milam; her brother, Frankie Sanders of Milam; and her sister, Heather Sanders Barrow of Baytown. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Walker Titman and Rowan Schmidt.

Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Frank Sanders.
