Mary Jeanne Scott Logan
March 13, 1948, it was a dark and stormy night in Knoxville, Tennessee as the squalls of a newborn baby girl pierced the night, and God said, “Ta-Da.” Mary Jeanne Scott was born to Gerald and Julia Scott and big brother, Robert Jackson all now deceased. Jeanne grew up on the outskirts of Nashville but in the summer of 1963, the family had a chance to return to TEXAS. YAY! Jeanne met Ralph Logan in 1968 and they married that same year. With four wild and wonderful sons to raise, life was never dull. She finished her college degree at Sam Houston State and taught Junior High Science for quite a few years. Jeanne had a life full of liveliness, laughter and love.
She leaves behind her beloved husband Ralph, their four sons: Wade (Tricia), Troy (Anne), Ralph Jr. (Shan) and Rusty (Jennifer), twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, brother Tom Scott (Sheila), Sister Julia Clark (Harley) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jeanne was a woman of great faith, love, laughter. Memorial Service held Monday, June 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at The Refuge in Milam 400 New Hope Drive Milam, TX 75757. Lunch will be served after the service.
