Marjorie Sue Pynes, born April 27, 1940 in Tallahatchie County, Charleston, Mississippi to Brainard Clinton Carpenter and Allie Mae Roberts Carpenter. She lived in Sabine County since 1991.

Sue passed away on November 17, 2025. She leaves behind husband: Wayne Pynes, daughter: Montana “Mary” Miller and husband, Marty Miller, sister: June Ashmore of Oakland, Mississippi and three grand daughters: Jennifer Gawrys, Kimberly Orr and Amanda Mitchell.

She is preceded in death by Mother, Father, Brothers: Earl, Lewis and Paul and two Daughters: Rita Lois Richardson and Brenda Gayle Gawyrs.

She worked many years for Siecor in Keller and was self employed for seventeen years. She retired in Milam and was a Certified Lay Speaker for twenty years to the Methodist Church in Milam.
