Lola Christine (Harvey) Rash, 89, of San Augustine County passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at The Summit Health Care Center.

She was born April 21, 1933, in San Augustine County to parents, Jeff and Rosie (Richardson) Harvey. She was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked many years as a housekeeper for the county courthouse as well as at local nursing homes. She had a great love for cooking and taking care of her family

Her survivors include her children, Danny Rash of San Augustine, Susie McDaniel and husband, Cary of Coushatta, LA, Billy Rash and wife, Marilyn of Argyle and Rose Newman and husband, Rodney of Garrison; grandchildren, Pepper Lea and husband, David of Hall Summit, LA, LaRae Carter of Bossier City, LA, Cari Ramsey and husband, Josh of Carthage, Traci Johnson and husband, Jeremiah of Shreveport, LA, Justin Rash and wife, Jessica Chattanooga, TN, Jeremy Rash of Dalton, GA, Chelsea Velasquez and husband, Jason of Houston and Cameron Rash of San Antonio; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Rosie Harvey; her husband, R.C. Rash; a daughter, Carolyn Ducharme; and her siblings.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 22, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home chapel in San Augustine with Stephen Wiggins officiating. Cremation followed and a private inurnment will be held at Dickerson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorials for the Church of Christ at 105 W. Market Street, San Augustine, TX 75972.
