Lawrence Edward Payne, age 54, of Lufkin, departed this physical life on June 1, 2025, at CHI St. Luke Health Memorial in Lufkin. Mr. Payne was born October 06, 1970.

Lawrence is survived by his spouse; Cyinthia Marie Bosley of Lufkin, two sons; DalMichael Jones of San Augustine and Christopher Jones of San Augustine, two daughters; Ebony Teal of Nacogdoches,and Samantha Payne of Nacogdoches, step-son; Alandis Douglas (Sadie) of Lufkin, step-daughter; Octavia Simmons (Christopher) of Gladewater, seventeen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers; Benny Thomas (Chicano) of Katy and Harris Wade of Pineland, four sisters; Linda Thomas of San Augustine, Bertie Latham of San Augustine, Dorothy Wade of San Augustine, and Sara Thomas of San Augustine. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, of other relatives and friends.

Viewing held on the day of the service. Funeral service held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Spirit of Love Baptist Church, Interment: Mt. Dena Cemetery, with Rev Anthony Jackson, officiating. Condolences by Garner and Son Mortuary.
