Kurt Duane Butler, 66, born and raised in Fort Worth, departed to his heavenly home on Oct. 26, 2022.There he joined his mother Marceline Lewis, brother Stanley Joe Butler, and father Joe Butler. His wife, Francis Linda James, soon followed his lead.

He was a friend to all and beloved by many- known by his contagious smile and desire to make others laugh. He served in the electric and gas industry being a respected employee of TXU and Atmos for over 40 years, where he retired.

He is survived by his little girl Angel James Butler, stepdaughters Toni Wolff and Linda McCue, in addition to 8 beautiful grandchildren, and his best friend and cousin, Dan (Tamera) Walker.

A Memorial Service was held on July 22, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill,
