Joe Lewis Edwards, age 67, of San Augustine, departed this physical life on Tuesday, July 13, 2026, at CHI St. Luke Memorial in Lufkin. Mr. Joe Lewis Edwards, was born January 01,1959.

Survived by his three brothers: Clayton Edwards of Chirino, David Edwards (Sherry) of Frankston, and Rev. Jerome Tanner of San Augustine, two sisters : Lillie Faye Wade of San Augustine, and Luttie B. Edwards (Daron) of Jacksonville. As well as, a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service held Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11 a.m., True Vine Baptist Church, Interment: St. Luke Cemetery, Rev. Orvin Garrett, Officiating.
