JoAnn O'Riley passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 90 in Henderson. Born on February 16, 1936, in Hemphill, she was the daughter of James Daniel (Buddy) O'Riley and Emmie Jane Glawson O'Riley. JoAnn had moved from Buna, to Henderson, where she spent her last 30 years. A member of the Assembly of God and the Ladies Missionary Auxiliary, JoAnn dedicated much of her time to volunteering at the Memorial Hospital in Henderson. She was passionate about cooking, constantly exploring new recipes, and was both a skilled seamstress and an accomplished artist.

JoAnn is survived by her sons, Randy Wright and his wife, Darlene, of Pineland, and Will Rogers of Buna; daughters, Charlotte Fox and her husband, Danny Joe, of Henderson, Melissa Malandruccolo and her husband, Andy, of Buna, Cindy Kubala and her husband, Justin, of Fayetteville, and Carla Smith and her husband, Andy, of Buna. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will miss her deeply.

Graveside services for JoAnn were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Jacks Cemetery in Pineland. The pallbearers include Randy Wright, Will Rogers, Joe Fox, Andy Malandruccolo, Justin Kubala, Andy Smith, Joshua Kubala, Blake Wright, Taylor Smith, and Zachary Rogers.

Handling the arrangements will be Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill, Texas. JoAnn's legacy will be cherished by all who knew her, as she lived a life full of love, service, and creativity.
