Jessica Irene Gillespie, born on July 13, 1976, in Pineville, Louisiana, to Kenneth Oneil Null and Teena Marie Cloud, passed away on July 23, 2026, in Hemphill, at the age of 50.

Jessica was a cherished mother, housewife, and homemaker known for her deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She found joy in camping and fishing, and her love of cooking and entertaining made her an excellent host for her loved ones. Jessica also had a special bond with her dog, Mama Girl, who was a significant part of her life.

She is survived by a loving family: her father, Kenneth Null and his wife, Gyndolyn, of Hemphill; her mother, Teena McAlister and husband, James, of West Monroe, Louisiana; her longtime love, Shawn Elliott of Hemphill; her son, Christian Pace of Hineston, Louisiana; her daughter, Alexis Fontenot and her husband, Preston, of Pineville, Louisiana; her brother, Bobby Null and his wife, Debra of Glenmora, Louisiana; her sisters, Jamie McAlister and April McAlister, both of West Monroe; and her cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Hudson, Brynlee, and Drake.

Jessica attended East Mayfield Baptist Church in Hemphill. Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill. Services for Jessica will be announced at a later date.
