Henry Arthur Lavigne, 88, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 07:45 PM.

He was born in Lawrence, MA, on December 9, 1934. He Graduated in 1975 with a G.E.D. in Omaha, NE. He joined the United States Air Force in 1951 and retired with 23 years of honorable service. He proudly served multiple tours in Korea and Vietnam. He Graduated from Sioux Falls Business School with an Associate degree in Computer Science. He would later marry the love of his life in 1956, Bobbie J. Tarver.

After retiring from the United Stated Air Force, he was employed at the EROS data center as a photo technician Supervisor. Organizations included: Veterans Administration; Service Officer, Hemp Hill Texas. Veterans of foreign wars; Post Commander Post 10351, District 19 Commander. Disabled American veterans. American Legion. Air Force Sergeants Associations. Free Masons; Scottish Rite of Freemasonry; El Maida Shriners.

He was preceded in death his parents Arthur A. Lavigne, Orise I. Lavigne and Stepmother Dora Lavigne. His wife of 65 Years Bobbie J. Lavigne. His Brother Ronald Lavigne and Ronald’s Wife Patricia Lavigne, His oldest son Albert Lavigne, and His Grandson Ryan Lavigne.

He Leaves behind two sons Richard, and Donald Lavigne. He has three grandchildren Max, Jacob, and Matt Lavigne. He has three great grandchildren Jackson, Oliver, and Autumn Lavigne. He also has four nieces Sherry, Patty, Lori, and Melanie. He has three great Grandnieces and one Grandnephew Mandy, Cassie, Ashley, and Ronald.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, with Rosary at 6:00 PM on Thurs., Feb. 23, at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Mass will take place at 9:00 AM on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Committal Service will follow at 10:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
