Gloria Avis Horn Roberts, 85, of Rosevine, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 in Hemphill.

A lifelong resident of Rosevine, Gloria was born on December 20, 1938, on Horn Rd. in Rosevine to the late Clint Avis Horn and Doris Katherine Eddins Horn. She was a beloved member of the Rosevine Church of God.

Gloria and her husband, Paul, were high school sweethearts and married shortly after their graduation from Bronson High School, where they were both members of the Class of 1957 and Gloria was class Salutatorian.

Gloria enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafting with her grandchildren, and baking. She was known for always having something delicious made for her loved ones.

She is survived by her son, Rodney Roberts and wife, Tanya, of Lufkin; daughter, Michelle Butler and husband, Kyle, of
Hemphill; daughter-in-law, Martha Roberts of Lufkin; sister, Katherine Barnes and husband, Thomas, of Rosevine; grandsons, Michael Roberts, Paul Roberts and wife, Rebecca, and Jared Ranniger; great-grandchildren, Asher, Perry, Holland, August, Scottie, Kynsley, Kyler, Kylie, and Khloe; special nieces, Darla Williams and Christina Ferguson.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Paul Roberts; son, James Roberts; and daughter, Rhonda
Roberts.

Graveside services were held on Friday, April 19 in Rosevine Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home
with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.
