Frankie Youngblood, 90, of San Augustine, passed away on May 28, 2024. He was born on December 23, 1933, in Hemphill, to Harry and Willie Gooch Youngblood. Frankie proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Jet Engine Mechanic for 28 years before retiring at Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock,. After retirement, he returned to Sabine County. He was a graduate of Hemphill High School and held an associate's degree in real estate. Frankie was a member of Yellowpine Missionary Baptist Church.

Frankie is survived by his son, Marty Youngblood and wife, Wilhelmina, of Keller; daughters, Charlotte Gordon and husband, Cary, of Lago Vista, and Fredette Youngblood of Hemphill; grandchildren, Christopher Touchton and wife, Sarah, Eric Rosen and wife, Rachel, and Keagon Youngblood; and great-grandchildren, Colt Touchton, Parker Rosen, and Collette Rosen.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Kenelia Osborn Youngblood.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, playing Bingo and going to the Senior Citizen Center.

Graveside services were held Saturday, June 1, 2024 in Harpers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Tracy Lane officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Doug Youngblood, Butch Harper, Glenn Harper, Keagon Youngblood, Eric Rosen and Bryan Shobert.

Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill, Texas, is assisting with the arrangements.
