F B Beeson, 88, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Willowbrook Nursing Home in Nacogdoches.

He was born in Geneva, on Feb. 28, 1935 to Fisher B. Beeson and Evon Sanders Beeson. He worked for many years in oilfield maintenance for Daily Oil Tools. He had been a resident of Willis, and then Bronson, before moving to Nacogdoches 12 years ago and was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church and also a member of the Oddfellows Lodge.

He loved hunting and being with his family and he also enjoyed western movies, reading books and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Beeson. He is survived by his son, David Beeson of Nacogdoches; daughters, Larenda Richards of Vernal, UT and Janice Ramsey of Mountain Bluff, AK; brother, Wayne Beeson of Frost; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held, May 10, in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Welton Blackmon officiating.

Burial will follow services in Yellowpine Cemetery with Raymond Crawford, Chaz Coronado, Brandon Barthol, Shelby Beeson, Daniel Beeson and Alan Cunningham serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Loper and Deryck Fontenot.
