Everett Randal Harvey, 68, of Bronson, Texas passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Legacies Nursing and Rehab in Hemphill, Texas.

Everett was born in Hemphill on September 23, 1954 to Paul Harvey and Ida Pearl Smith Harvey. He was a lifetime resident of Sabine County. He was a hard-working man who spent 45 years working in the logging industry. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly. They were the true joys of his life.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Harvey; son, Shane Harvey; and sister, Dorothy Fountain.

He is survived by his son, Shawn Harvey and wife, Kearia, of Bronson; daughters, Carissa Golden and husband, Taylor, of Bronson and Melissa Greenwood and husband, Gary Todd, of Brookeland; brothers, Nelford Harvey and wife, Faye, of Zwolle, LA and Delray Harvey and wife, Paula, of Cleveland; grandchildren, Maci, Graci, Laci, Kayli, Shawn, Jr., Shane, Shandon, Roslynn, Talissa, Ethan and Rainie; and great grandchildren, Preslie, Wyatt and Wrenley.

Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Bronson Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating. Family will meet at Starr Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. for procession.

Serving as pallbearers are Jim Bo Welch, Taylor Golden, Byron Fountain, Timothy “Pee-Wee” Mitchell, Justin Parnell and Stevie Price.
