Eleanor Moore, age 73, of Lufkin, departed this physical life on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Hospice in the Pines Inpatient Facility in Lufkin. Ms. Eleanor Moore was born on January 13, 1953. Eleanor is survived by her two daughters; Marilyn Moore of Lufkin, and Latania Edwards (Paul) of Killen, one son; Nicholas Moore (Amber) of Lufkin, seventeen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, siblings; Archie Johnson of San Augustine, Franklin Moore (Charlene) of Petersberg, VA, LaNease Culbertson (Roland) of Houston, Sammie Kay Thweatt (Johon) of Disputanta, VA, Zella McCoy (Jerry) of Houston, Didric Lathan (Kimble) of Center, Charles Moore (Deborah) of Lufkin, and Kenneth Moore (Lakeshia) of Mesquite. As well as a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Viewing held Friday, August 14, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Garner & Son Chapel.

Funeral service held Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11 a.m. Mt. Horeb Baptist Church, Interment: Haliey Bush Cemetery, Rev. Deshmond Johnson, Officiating, Rev. Tim Teel, Eulogist.
