Darline (Renfroe) Smith, 72, Timpson, died Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Born January 31, 1952, in San Augustine to parents Eunice Eleanor (Morris) and Leon Tyson Renfroe, Darline worked several years in the family business, Renfroe Furniture and a resale shop. She was also a longtime employee of Hardy's Sawmill, Broaddus, and J&B Lumber, Neuville. She had a number of hobbies, especially enjoying jewelry making and coin collecting, and absolutely loved fishing.

Survivors: children, Scott Edmond Smith, Timpson, and James Michael Mangan and Anita Renae Smith, both of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life memorial service was held May 9 at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, San Augustine.
