Buxton James Burton, known affectionately as 'Super Bucky,' passed away on August 5, 2026, in Bronson, at the tender age of 6. Born on October 17, 2019, in Beaumont, to Kenneth Burton and Samantha Jacobs Burton, Bucky quickly became a cherished member of his community.

A bright and joyful spirit, Bucky was a Kindergarten student and a lifelong resident of Sabine County. He shared a deep bond with his family, especially enjoying video games with his brother, Hunter. Bucky's adventurous spirit shone through in his love for riding four-wheelers and mudding. He relished travel, with regular stops at Buccee's being a favorite treat. Bucky was also an enthusiastic fan of Monster Jam and WWE, holding a special admiration for wrestler Jey Uso. His love for Bible stories was a testament to his gentle and inquisitive nature.

Bucky is survived by his loving parents, Kenneth and Samantha Burton of Milam; his brother, Hunter; and sister, Maelee. His extended family includes his grandparents, Wanda Ozan and spouse, Kirk Marioneaux, Rachel Horne, Donna Tanner, David Tanner, and Alton Jacobs; uncles, Bobby Jacobs, Kade Harley, Tyler Jacobs, and Jeremy Champagne; aunts, Jennifer Champagne, Jessica Thibodeaux, and Debbie Fett; cousins, Tori, Raylan, Blake, TJ and wife Jera Brittain; along with many more beloved family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Burton; greatgrandmothers Wanda Ladner, Ruby Jacobs, Jennie Burton, Sue Huber, and Richard Burton; great-grandfather James Ozan; cousin, Amberlyn Fett; and many great aunts and uncles.

Funeral services held August 9, 2026, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating. Bucky's joyful presence and loving spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
