Billy Joe Williams, 46, of Pineland, passed away Saturday, November 25, in Sabine County Hospital.
B.J., as he was known to his friends and family, was born in San Augustine, on July 20, 1977 to Tommy Joe Williams and Tena Worrell Reeves. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Pipeliners Local 450.
He was a lifetime resident of Sabine County and enjoyed going fishing and hunting. He especially liked to go noodling for catfish.
He is survived by his mother, Tena Worrell Reeves of Pineland; grandmother, Ruby Dickerson of Pineland; bonus Mom, Lydia Hyden Williams Brackin of Hemphill; son, Eastin Williams of Hemphill; daughter, Emma Williams of Hemphill; brothers, Norman Reeves, Jr. and wife, Audra, of Nederland, Robert Reeves and wife, Holly, of Kilgore and Cheyenne Dudley and wife, Jessica, of Lumberton; sisters, Stephanie Martin and fiance', Shannon Cheney of Pineland, Lynn Reeves of Splendora, Pam Williams and fiance', Nicholas Benoit, Sabrina Williams and fiance', Gene Reynolds, Melissa Williams and fiance' Henry Beaumont and Heather Williams and fiance', Jeremiah Cole; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Joe Williams and Dad, Norman Reeves.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home, Hemphill.
Memorial donations are requested to be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
