Betty Bluford, age 77, of San Augustine, departed this physical life on May 20, 2025, at CHI St. Luke in Lufkin. Ms. Bluford was born September 26, 1947.

Betty is survived by her siblings; R.C. Bluford (Gloria), Beaumont, Exie Sublett, Liberty, Shirley Balloon (Walter), Forney, Acy Bluford Jr. (Marjorie) Houston, Earnestine Hicks, Sacramento, CA,, Eunice Sigler, Center, Jewel Rashall (Marion), Davenport, IA, and Joyce Windsor (Denny), Lithonia, GA. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, of other relatives and friends.

Visitation held Friday, June 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Garner & Son Chapel.

Funeral service held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., at Bell Chapel Baptist Church, Interment: Thompson Cemetery, Shelbyville, with Rev. Timothy Teal, officiating.
