Hazel Girouard Swice, 89, of Bronson, Texas passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Legacies Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hemphill.

She was born in Port Arthur, on Nov. 19, 1932 to Andrew N. Girouard and Evelyn Palombo Girouard. She worked as a secretary for Texaco for many years.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Vaughn of Los Placitas, NM; daughters, Therese Vaughn of Nederland, Margaret Vaughan of Hemphill, Deborah Beadeaux and husband, David, of Port Neches and Hemphill, Celeste Pinson of Milam, and Patricia Vaughan of Nederland; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services were held, Sept. 20, in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rusty Hammett officiating.

Burial will follow services in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in San Augustine.
